The much-anticipated Western Conference Finals series between the Thunder and Warriors kicked off on Monday night at Oracle Arena and it didn’t fail to live up to it’s expectations.
The Thunder did something that no team has done since the Cavs in Game 2 of the 2015 NBA Finals as they defeated the Warriors in Game 1 on their home floor. The Thunder, down by 14 points heading into the fourth held the Dubs to just 14 fourth quarter points and made some huge plays offensively.
Kevin Durant finished with 26 points/10 rebounds and came up huge hitting a go-ahead jumper with 30 seconds left to put the Thunder up 105-100. Russell Westbrook finished with 27 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds and a career-high 7 steals.
