Warriors Rout Rockets in Game 1, Steph Curry Scores 24 Points in 19 Mins

The Golden State Warriors begun their NBA Championship defense on Saturday afternoon as they hosted the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarter-Finals.

The best team in regular season history came out firing, led by soon-to-be, back-to-back league MVP, Steph Curry who went off for 16 points in the first quarter alone. During the first quarter Patrick Beverley and Curry also had an altercation which resulted in a double technical.

Curry finished the game with 24 points and 7 rebounds in just 19 minutes of action and the Warriors used a balance attack to defeat the Rockets 104-78. Check out the highlights below.
