The Cavs returned to Oracle Arena on Martin Luther King Day for the first time since Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals to take on the Warriors. After blowing a 14-point lead and losing a thriller to the Cavs on Christmas Day, the Dubs came out firing on their home floor and hit the Cavs with a knockout punch early. The Kevin Durant effect was felt big time in this one as the four-time scoring champion set the tone early, going off for 19 points in the first half which included some big shots and thunderous dunks.
Stephen Curry hit a backbreaking three at the end of the first half and went onto finish the game with 20 points and 11 assists. Draymond Green recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. KD led the way for G-State, finishing with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The Warriors made a statement, blowing out the Cavs 126-91.
