Warriors Make 23-Point Comeback, Defeat Clippers in Thriller

The Warriors and Clippers rivalry keeps on getting better. The two teams clearly have heat with each other, therefore whenever they face there is a lot of pride on the line.

On Thursday night the two competed in what was arguably the best game of the season so far. The undefeated Warriors were on the ropes in the second half as it looked like the Clippers were about to hand them their first loss of the season. Then the Warriors happened.

The defending champs shot 73% in the fourth quarter to erase a 23-point deficit and hit some huge shots in the final two minutes and ended up winning the game 124-117. The Clippers were stunned.

Chris Paul was taking this game personally and going at the Warriors backcourt all night, finishing with 35 points and 8 assists. However, he was ultimately out duelled by Steph Curry who had 40 points and a season-high 11 rebounds.

The Warriors are now just the fifth team in NBA history to open a season with a record of 13-0. They have not lost a game since Game 3 of the 2015 NBA Finals.
