Warriors Defeat Cavs In Game 1 of 2016 NBA Finals

The much-anticipated 2016 NBA Finals tipped off on Thursday night at Oracle Arena in what turned out to be a strange Game 1 between the Cavs and Warriors.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry only combined for 20 points, but the Warriors bench scored 45 points, which included 20 big points from veteran guard Shaun Livingston. The Warriors made this one look easy as ever. They played their game, moved the ball, pushed the ball, hit 3-pointers and got easy layups all game long. The Cavs had no answer for the Dubs attack, and LeBron James supporting cast never really managed to get going offensively.

The Warriors are now three games away from repeating as NBA Champions. Based on what we saw in Game 1, this team looks much scarier than they ever have and that 7-game thriller against the Thunder may have a thing or two to do with it. The champs were literally doing whatever they wanted on the floor in Game 1 and had the Cavs looking lost.
