In a game for the ages, the Golden State Warriors led by Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals in what will go down as an absolute classic.
With an opportunity to reach the NBA Finals, the Thunder played some of the best defense they have ever played and had the the defending champions on the ropes throughout the entire game up until the final four minutes of the fourth quarter. Thompson turned in arguably the greatest shooting performance in NBA Playoff history, nailing a record 11 3-pointers en route to 41 clutch points.
Thompson’s shooting also opened up the court for Curry who made some incredibly clutch plays offensively and defensively to lead the Warriors to the 108-101 win. The Warriors have the opportunity to complete one of the most epic comebacks in an already historic season on Monday night at Oracle Arena when they play the Thunder in Game 7.
