VIDEO: Russell Westbrook Puts Up One of The Greatest Performances In NBA History

In a historic season which has all felt like an amazing movie, Russell Westbrook had what was arguably the best night of his career. In an incredible atmosphere at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Russ recorded his 42nd triple-double during the final 4 minutes of the game, setting the record for most in a season. After bringing Denver to their feet, Westbrook broke their hearts as he scored the final 15 of his 18 fourth quarter points in the most crucial moments of the game.

It took multiple mistakes from Denver and some insane plays from Russ to bring it down to just a one posession game with 2 seconds left. When he got the ball and launched from 36-feet, to beat the Nuggets at the buzzer, ending their playoff hopes, Russ pumped like Mike as his team mobbed him.

It was his 50th point of the night. He also had 16 rebounds and 10 assists. This was his third 50-point triple-double of the season. The MVP is his. One of the greatest displays of athletic greatness, in the history of pro sports.
