Video: Chris Paul Out 3-5 Weeks With Separated Shoulder

Injuries to star players have hurt this NBA season, they juts keep coming. Chris Paul went down in the third quarter against the Mavericks on Friday night, Paul was taking to the hoop but was fouled by Monta Ellis and it seems like Ellis may have yanked Paul’s arm too far back. Paul was in pain and was holding his shoulder and in the post game press conference Doc Rivers told reporters that Chris Paul was expected to miss 3-5 weeks of action due to a separated shoulder.

Paul could miss 10-18 games with this injury. The Clippers will turn to Darren Collison to run the show while Paul is out.

As per Sports Illustrated:

Clippers guard Chris Paul was forced from action with a separated right shoulder during L.A.’s 119-112 road victory over Dallas on Friday.

During his post-game comments, coach Doc Rivers told reporters that Paul is expected to miss three-to-five weeks with the injury. If Paul is sidelined for three weeks, he will miss the Clippers’ next 10 games. If his absence extends to five weeks, he will miss up to 18 games.
