USA Basketball Announces 34-Player Mini-Camp Roster

USA Basketball will begin their quest to win a third straight Gold Medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next week in Las Vegas when they begin their mini-camp.

There will be 34 players at the three-day camp which is set to begin on Tuesday, August 11th. This camp is meant to keep the US team in the same gym and have them get to bond together before they meet for next years Olympics.

There will be nine newcomers to the camp, most of them are likely going to represent the US in future World Championship and Olympic teams.

LeBron James is confirmed to be participating in the camp, he will be joined by these 33 players below. Via USAB:

Added to the 2014-16 USA National Team roster and participating in the Aug. 11-13 USA National Team training camp are eight NBA standouts, including Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors); Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls); Michael Carter-Williams (Milwaukee Bucks); Mike Conley (Memphis Grizzlies); Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors); Tobias Harris (Orlando Magic); DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers); and Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic).
