24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
In Kobe Bryant’s final game against Steph Curry and the Warriors, the Lakers young bucks stole the show by upsetting the defending NBA Champions on national TV.
D’Angelo Russell finished with 21 points and 5 assists and Jordan Clarkson dropped a game-high 20 points to lead the Lakers to the 112-95 win.
The Warriors, who are still in good position to finish with the best record in NBA history were ice cold in this game. Steph Curry had one of the worst games of his season going just 6-of-20 from the field for 18 points. Klay Thompson also had a rough game finishing 7-for-20. The Warriors just looked careless and out of sync in this one and ended up losing just their sixth game of the season because of that.
Statistically, this is one of the biggest upsets in NBA regular season history.
