The Cavs media day started off with David Griffin announcing that Mo Williams has retired and that they are still working on re-signing JR Smith. One of the leaders and favorites on the Cavs roster, Smith has had the support of all his teammates and friends. LeBron James had even gone public, by sending messages to the Cavs front office to get the JR deal done, similarly to the way he did it last year with Tristan Thompson.
