The Oklahoma City Thunder have taken a commanding 3-1 series lead over the 73-win Golden State Warriors after a dominant 118-94 win in Game 4.
Russell Westbrook led the way with a beastly 36 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds, with Kevin Durant adding 26 points and 10 rebounds of his own. The Warriors defense held Stephen Curry to 6-of-20 shooting from the field and Thunder forwards Andre Roberson and Serge Ibaka scored 17 points each and combined for 19 rebounds.
The Thunder controlled the game most of the way, but for a moment in the third quarter it looked like the Warriors had some life left when Klay Thompson erupted for 19 points through the first seven minutes of the second half, but even he would eventually run out of gas.
The series is headed back to Oakland and the Warriors are in a must-win situation, but the Thunder have equal pressure to get it done.
