Thomas Robinson to Sign With Brooklyn Nets

Forward Thomas Robinson was traded from the Trail Blazers to the Nuggets last week is expected to clear waivers on Tuesday. The 6-10 forward has agreed to sign with the Brooklyn Nets on a 10-day contract which will eventually lead to an agreement for the remainder of the season.

Robinson sent out a tweet this morning.

Adrian Wojnarowski originally reported that Robinson has reached an agreement with the Nets.

Forward Thomas Robinson has reached agreement on a deal with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Robinson, the fifth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, will sign a 10-day deal with the Nets, which is expected to lead to an agreement for the remainder of the season, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Robinson will clear NBA waivers on Tuesday at 5 p.m. EST.

After Portland traded Robinson to Denver on Thursday, Robinson’s agent requested he be waived because of a lack of playing time available to him with the Nuggets
