T-Wolves Head Coach Flip Saunders Passes Away at Age 60

Devastating news coming out of Minnesota today as Timberwolves minority owner and head coach Flip Saunders has passed away at the age of 60.

Saunders, who was battling cancer coached the T-Wolves, Wizards and Pistons over a 20 year career in the NBA. Flip was the man of the team when they drafted Kevin Garnett and led him to an MVP in 2004, he also drafted 2015 Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins and most recently, Karl-Anthony Towns.

Kevin Garnett posted a heartbreaking message to his Facebook page when he learned about the passing.
