Shaquille O’Neal: Today’s NBA is ‘Very Soft’

On a recent visit to Hong Kong NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal made some interesting comments while addressing the Michael Jordan and LeBron James debate by stating that Dr. J was actually the best ever.

He made some more funny comments as he spoke to the Wall Street Journal saying that he doesn’t miss the game and that Shaq Fu has killed off all his enemies and is chilling in a mountain somewhere.

Shaq also claims that no big man in the game today would be able to stop him calling it “too easy”. When asked about Anthony Davis he said “No, too little, that’s barbecue chicken down there”.

The most dominant of all-time says that his era was soft, but today’s NBA is “very soft”.

It was actually kind of soft when I played, too. Before I played, that was the real NBA, and I’m sure the guys that played before me would say that’s the real NBA. But before I came in, with Mike playing against Detroit and the Bad Boys – that was the real NBA. I kind of played in the soft era, also. And then of course, with me being dominant, everybody crying about the rules, that just made it more so. But now it’s very soft.
