Shaquille O’Neal and Scottie Pippen are Beefing on Instagram

UPDATE: The Shaq and Scottie Pippen feud keeps getting better. Last night Shaq posted a video from the Game 7 of the 2000 NBA Western Conference Finals in which the Lakers came back from 17 points down in the fourth quarter to defeat Scottie Pippen’s Trail Blazers. The highlight of that game was when Kobe Bryant crossed Pippen up and threw a monster lob to Shaq. Check the caption.

Scottie Pippen came back with a photo of him wearing his six NBA Championship rings.

Game over, @shaq. All that’s ever mattered to me is winning and we did plenty of that in Chicago… A photo posted by Scottie Pippen (@scottiepippen) on

Shaq fired back with this:

Who do you think would win? #balldontstop #bulls #lakers #franchise

ORIGINAL: The all-time Bulls team starred Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant, while the Lakers had a Hall of Fame lineup of Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Shaquille O’Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. A few hours later Shaq picked up on the debate and let the world know his thoughts via Instagram claiming that the Lakers would win by 50 points.

We would beat em by fifty “what you think”. Let me know and don’t hold back A photo posted by DR. SHAQUILLE O’NEAL Ed.D. (@shaq) on

Bulls legend and six-time NBA Champion Scottie Pippen responded real quick with the 6 rings being the main counter.

Shaq fired back hard by claiming that Pippen was just “ok” in all those Finals and basically rode MJ to the rings.

This is when things got heated and Pippen fired back by poking fun at Shaq’s ability to shoot free throws.

Easy big fella… if only you were as good at free throws as you are talking smack! @shaq

This led to Shaq dubbing Pippen a “Sidekick”.

Anybody need a T MOBILE SIDEKICK. I GOTTa PRETTY GOOD ONE #BESTSIDEKICKEVER A photo posted by DR. SHAQUILLE O’NEAL Ed.D. (@shaq) on

Pippin came back strong with a photo of Shaq standing alongside all the stars he played with.

Speaking of being a sidekick… if I recall correctly you know a thing or two about that as well. @shaq
