Russell Westbrook Ties Oscar Robertson For Most Triple-Doubles in a Season

Russell Westbrook made history on Tuesday night in OKC as he recored his 10th assist of the night against the Bucks on a pass to Taj Gibson during the third quarter. This assists gave Westbrook his 41st triple-double of the season, tying him with Oscar Robertson for the most triple-doubles in a single season. If this doesn’t strengthen his MVP case, then we don’t know what will. We are witnessing the greatest individual season in NBA history and it isn’t over yet. Westbrook still has five games remaining in the season, and there is a strong chance that he will set the record for most ever.
