Russell Westbrook Records Sixth Triple-Double in Eight Games

Russell Westbrook made history last night becoming the first player to record six triple doubles in eight games since Michael Jordan did it back in 1989. Westbrook recorded 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Thunder to a 113-99 win over the T-Wolves.

This was Westbrook’s eighth triple-double of the season, the most since Jason Kidd in 2007-08. These aren’t J-Kidd type triple-doubles though, Russ is recording some monstrous triple-doubles.

Westbrook has been straight up dominant this season and has us thinking that the Thunder should always have been his team after all.
