Russ Smith Drops 65 Points, Sets NBA D-League Record

Delaware 87ers guard Russ Smith made history on Wednesday night as he went off for an NBA D-League record 65 points against the Canton Charge. The lightning quick guard was 24-of-42 from the field and only hit one 3-pointer in the whole game.

Smith gets to the basket with ease, has a vicious first-step and amazing body control. Smith scored 32 of his 65 points off of layups and finished 16-of-20 from the free throw line.

It’s safe to say an NBA team will be calling him up in the near future. This is incredible.
