REPORTS: Derrick Rose Expected To Sign With T-Wolves Once He Clears Waivers

Derrick Rose was traded to the Jazz as part of the Rodney Hood deal and it was reported right off the bat that the team would be releasing him. This was probably a decision that was mutual as the former MVP was immediately linked to the T-Wolves. Once Rose clears waivers he is expected to reunite with head coach Tom Thibodeau, who he won an MVP under in 2011 in Chicago. Though his potential role with the T-Wolves is uncertain at the moment you can expect him to get a fair shot with Minnesota and actually be able to showcase his abilities on a winning team, something he wanted to do in Cleveland. When Derrick was a free agent this season, a potential reunion with Thibs is what had him linked to the T-Wolves, it was probably the best and remains the best situation for him as far as being able to prove he can still ball out.
