It looks like Zach LaVine has come to the realization that he has nothing left to prove when it comes to the NBA Dunk Contest. The man who won back-to-back titles in epic and historic fashion in 2015 and 2016 has declined an invite to the 2017 Dunk Contest in New Orleans. Playing 37.1 minutes per game for the T-Wolves, which is the third most in the NBA right now, LaVine will most likely use the All-Star break to rest up.
Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine won't compete in the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, sources told Basketball Insiders.
