REPORT: Tony Romo To Sign One-Day Deal With Mavericks, Suit Up Against Nuggets 

The Dallas Mavericks who are out of playoff contention are planning on finishing their season on Tuesday against the Nuggets by making headlines.

Recently retired Cowboys QB Tony Romo will be signing a one day deal with the Mavs and sitting in uniform on their bench in their season finale. The game is meant to pay tribute to the Dallas favorite. Via ESPN:

With starting point guard Seth Curry ailing in recent days and officially out for the rest of the season because of a shoulder ailment, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has said on multiple occasions over the past week that the club would be looking to add “a pass-first point guard” before playing out the season’s final five days.

People within the organization, sources tell ESPN, say he has been referring to Romo.
