REPORT: OKC Thunder To Make a Run For Blake Griffin In Free Agency

Russell Westbrook had arguably the greatest individual season in NBA history, but, in the mighty Western Conference the Thunder were knocked in the first round fairly easily. It is clear that Westbrook will need help next season if OKC wants to have success in the postseason. Management obviously knows this and reports are now surfacing that the Thunder will make a run for hometown star Blake Griffin. Via LA Times:

Griffin can sign a five-year deal worth $175 million with L.A., or sign a four-year deal worth $130 million with another team. The Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder are two teams that will make a bid for Griffin, according to several executives.
