Following the Cavs 113-99 road loss to the Wizards on Sunday reports surfaced that star guard Kyrie Irving is unhappy in Cleveland and wants out.
Stephen A. Smith reported the news on Monday morning during First Take and also stated that Kyrie has been unhappy for a year or so now.
LeBron James is also reportedly unhappy about having to carry so much load as the playmaker. Despite having the best record in the East, James and Irving are coming across as a duo that don’t fit well with each other. One thing is for sure, there is a lot of turmoil in the Cavs locker room heading into the postseason. Via Cleveland.com:
Behind the scenes, James has been growing livid about being the sole proprietor of making sure guys are involved, and in a rhythm. He’s used to carrying such a workload, but on this team, he shouldn’t have to. From top to bottom, this is the deepest team James has been a member of. He needs help.
