REPORT: Kevin Garnett Nearing Buyout With T-Wolves

Kevin Garnett, 40, is expected to announce his retirement from the NBA soon. The former MVP is in advanced buyout negotiations with the Timberwolves, which could only mean he is set to move on from playing basketball.

The Big Ticket rejoined the T-Wolves in 2015, the same team that drafted him out of high school 20 years prior to his return. He has accomplished everything that a player can possibly accomplish in the NBA and is a sure-fire first ballot Hall Of Famer. Garnett’s career has come full circle in Minnesota and he’s earned enough money to the point where he can be involved in ownership with the franchise in the near future.

A Garnett retirement would mean that the 2021 Hall of Fame class would be headlined by Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant.
