REPORT: Cavs Are Targetting Kristaps Porzingis In a Potential Kyrie Irving Trade

The Cavs are looking for young talent in return for Kyrie Irving and one of the players they are targetting in the potential trade is Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis. New York wants the Cavs to take back Joakim Noah’s three-year $55 million deal in return in the potential deal though. Irving has reportedly expressed interest in the Knicks, so this is a trade to keep your eye on. Via ESPN:

Porzingis has emerged as a primary Cleveland target, but that’s a conversation that can occur only with Cleveland’s willingness to unburden the Knicks of the three years and $55 million left on Joakim Noah’s contract.

For now, the conversation is a nonstarter for the Knicks, league sources said.
