REPORT: Andrew Wiggins Finalizing Five-Year $148 Million Extension With T-Wolves

Andrew Wiggins quietly had a big individual year last season putting up 23.6 points and four rebounds per game for the T-Wolves last season. The No. 1 pick in the 2014 Draft, Wiggins was looked at as a potential generational player and at just 22-years-old he still has the abilities to become that. With he additions of Jimmy Butler and Jeff Teague, don’t be surprised if the Ontario native and his fellow franchise cornerstone Karl Anthony-Towns have to sacrifice individual stats slightly in order to make it work for the team. However, Wiggins won’t have to worry about a statistical dip next season affecting his worth in the league as he is about to secure the bag nicely when he finalizes a five-year $148 million max extension with the T-Wolves this week.
