Rashad McCants Says He’d Be a $60-70 Million Player If He Didn’t Date Khloe Kardashian

Former T-Wolves guard Rashad McCants was averaging 14.9 points in 26.5 minutes per game in the 2007-08 season as a 23-year-old. He was one of the first NBA players that Khloe Kardashian was dating. However, looking back on it all, McCants says he regrets the relationship as it distracted him and gave him an unfocused vibe that other teams used against him during free agency. McCants went onto play one more season for the Kings in 2008-09 and was out of the NBA after just 58 games. Kardashian’s presence is also said to have led to the demise of Lamar Odom. Via Charlotte Observer:

McCants’ biggest regret was his highly-publicized relationship with reality TV star Khloe Kardashian late in his career, which he said gave people an opportunity to doubt his commitment to the NBA.

“Without that situation in play, I’m a $60-70 million player,” McCants said. “Easily.”
