Raptors Advance to Second Round For First Time Since 2001

The Toronto Raptors finally got a monkey off their backs as they defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 to reach the second round for the first time in 15 years.

The Raps came out the gate firing and their crowd was lit all game, ensuring that the momentum remained in their favor the whole game. Thought they pulled away many times in the third and fourth, the Pacers kept coming back at them and with a minute to go had cut their lead down to three points.

But, DeMar DeRozan showed the world why he is an All-Star, having what was probably the biggest game of his career as he poured in 30 points and made clutch plays on both ends of the floor to secure an 89-84 win for Toronto. Check out the highlights above.

Jurassic Park was bumping after the game as VIEWS played, and now the city of Toronto is looking to carry this momentum into the second round against the Heat.
