You’ve got to feel for Nate Robinson. After training hard all summer he was signed by the New Orleans Pelicans right before the season started and now just two games into the regular season, the Pelicans have waived Nate leaving him without an NBA team again.
This is when the business side of the NBA kicks in, but it hurts to see somebody who deserves it get overlooked time and time again. Via NBA.com:
The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has waived guard Nate Robinson.
Robinson, 5-9, 180, appeared in two games for New Orleans, averaging 2.0 assists and 0.5 steals. Originally signed by the Pelicans on Oct. 16, Robinson appeared in four preseason games, averaging 8.8 points and 2.5 assists.
New Orleans’ roster now stands at 14.
