Clippers forward Paul Pierce announced that the 2016-17 season will be the last of his career. The Truth believes the Clippers have a chance to go all the way, but even if he were the end up winning a title in LA, Pierce would still retire as a member of the Boston Celtics.
The 39-year-old recently confirmed that he would be retiring and going into the Hall of Fame as a member of the Celtics to Sirius XM Radio. Pierce was drafted by the C’s in 1998 and played 15 seasons for the franchise. Along with recently retired friend Kevin Garnett and future Hall of Famer Ray Allen, Pierce led the Celtics to the 2008 NBA Championship.
