Pacers forward Paul George is ballin again and his confident is as high as ever. With averages of 23.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, PG is playing the best basketball of his career and this is after not playing a full year due to that devastating leg injury.
Last night George dueled with LeBron James scoring 32 points to go with 11 rebounds and 6 assists but the Pacers came up short losing to the Cavs 101-97.
After the game George made some bold statements claiming that they aren’t really scare of this Cavs team, basically saying the teams James had in Miami a few years ago were much more to worry about. Via Ohio.com:
George, however, didn’t seem impressed.
“I think we match up well against this team,” he said. “This team doesn’t really scare us.”
“It’s on us to get where we want to get to,” George said. “It’s all about who gets the last laugh when we’re in the NBA Finals or playing against the Cavs in the Eastern Conference finals or whoever.”
