24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
On Monday, Nike Basketball made a big move as they introduced Paul George’s first signature sneaker, the PG1. Tailored for his smooth and versatile game, the PG1 features ZoomAir in the foot which will provide responsive cushioning. The forefoot strap which highlights the sneaker is back by the Flywire Cables for the ultimate lockdown. The cover star of NBA 2K17, George has a serious passion for video games and Nike made sure to highlight that as they put his NBA 2K image on the sockliner and straight up named this colorway of the sneaker “2K”.
This was obviously a big day for George as it is every basketball stars dream to one day have a signature sneaker. PG becomes apart of an elite group, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving as the Nike ballers who have their own sneaker. George will debut the sneaker on Thursday as the Pacers take on the Nuggets in London. There is no release date yet, but the PG1 will retail for $110. Check out the photos below via Nike.
