Monta Ellis and Reggie Bullock Suspended Five Games Over Marijuana


Pacers guard Monta Ellis and Pistons forward Reggie Bullock have been suspended for the first five games of the 2017-18 season for violating the NBA anti-drug program. This suspension occurs after a third marijuana violation. Ellis had the worst season of his career last year averaging just 8.5 points in 27 minutes a night. Via NBA:

The NBA announced today that Reggie Bullock of the Detroit Pistons and Monta Ellis of the Indiana Pacers have each been suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. Their suspensions will begin with the next NBA regular season game that they are eligible and physically able to play.
