The Milwaukee Bucks have traded guard Michael Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for backup forward Tony Snell.
Carter-Williams was selected by the 76ers with the No.11 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Sixers in January of 2015.
MCW averaged 11.5, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for the Bucks last season. Via ESPN:
A source close to Carter-Williams told Goodman that the guard was informed he was being traded to Chicago late Saturday night.
Sources said the Bucks, who have been openly looking for more shooting and defense on the perimeter in the wake of a long-term injury suffered by starter Khris Middleton just days before training camp, have targeted Snell to give them some much-needed help on the wing.
