The Miami Heat have signed Amar’e Stoudemire to a one-year, $1.5 million deal. The six-time All-Star averaged 11.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season through 59 games. Stoudemire played 39 games for the Knicks and 23 for the Mavs.
This should give the Heat some depth in the front court, and though Amar’e is past his prime, but he may just be a 17 and 8 type of guy depending on how he’s been training this offseason.
