Cavs guard Matthew Dellavedova played 38 minutes in Game 3 and went off for 20 points, which included some big plays defensively and offensively. When the Warriors cut the lead to just one point, Delly hit an incredible circus shot with the and-1 to put the Cavs back in the driver seat.
Delly frustrated Steph Curry early on in the game and made some big hustle plays that made the difference for Cleveland. He literally gave it all that he had.
A couple hours after the game, Dellavedova was taken to the hospital after suffering severe cramps during Game 3. Via NBA.com:
Scrappy guard Matthew Dellavedova, who has emerged as an unlikely star during this postseason, was hospitalized early Wednesday after suffering from severe cramps after Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The Cavs said Dellavedova received IV treatments at Quicken Loans Arena after the game then was taken by ambulance to the hospital for further procedures. A team spokesman said Dellavedova, who walked to the ambulance under his own power, was cramping in “multiple areas.”
