Kyrie Irving: Top 10 Career Plays

It is truly mind boggling that Kyrie Irving is only 23 years-old. The Cavs point guard has reached superstar status in the NBA in such a short amount of time.

After playing just 11 games at Duke in 2010-11, Irving was picked No.1 overall by the Cavs in the 2011 NBA Draft and went onto earn Rookie of the Year honors. He has been the closest thing to a “straight out of high school” since the league changed the rule back in the mid 00’s.

Through his first four seasons in the league, Irving has career averages of 21.0 points and 5.0 assists per game.

The Australian-born point guard is known for his nifty handle, his scoring touch, and of course, his cold-blooded, clutch shooting. This season, he has had two huge 50 + point performances, and has the Cavs looking like a serious contender.

The scary thing is he is only getting started.

We’ve been treated to some amazing plays from “Uncle Drew” over the past four years, so in celebration of his 23rd Birthday we take a look back at the top 10.
