24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
Kobe Bryant is the greatest shooting guard of his generation, Tim Duncan is the greatest power forward of his generation. Both legends have five championships, respectively. They’ve had some epic playoff battles and duels throughout their lengthy careers and on Friday night, they played against each other for the final time.
Both guys turned in vintage performances.
Bryant, who has been playing the best ball of his final season in the league as of late finished the game with 25 points in 29 minutes of action. The Mamba also dislocated his finger late in the fourth quarter, and in typical warrior-Kobe fashion he got it popped back in place right away and came back with a bucket.
Duncan had 12 points and 13 rebounds in 27 minutes of action, helping lead his Spurs to a 119-113 win over the Lakers.
