24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
On Wednesday Kobe Bryant entered his 20th season in the NBA and set the record for playing the most seasons with one franchise. Last night also marked Bryant’s first regular season game since January of this year.
The 5-time NBA Champion looked a lot younger this year than last as he scored 15 points in the first quarter, hitting vintage shots and playing/moving like his old self. Though he only finished 8-for-24 from the field, Bryant’s legs seemed to have a lot more fire in them and his scoring touch was still very much there.
The Mamba finished with 24 points but the story of the night was the lead that the Lakers threw away to Ricky Rubio and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
