Kobe Bryant played the third last game of his career on Sunday afternoon as the Lakers took on the Rockets. Bryant went up against former teammates Trevor Ariza and Dwight Howard as well as LA native James Harden.
The Mamba went to work on the Rockets pouring in 35 points in just 27 minutes of action, but that wasn’t enough to overcome Harden’s 40 points and 13 assists which led Houston to a 130-110 win over the Lakers.
It was a must-win for the Rockets and now they are one game behind the Jazz for the 8th seed in the West. If the Mavs defeat the Jazz tomorrow night and the Rockets defeat the T-Wolves, they would have the eight seed.
