Klay Thompson Nails 7 3-Pointers in Game 5, Warriors Eliminate Rockets

Jason Terry’s bold words had everyone tuned into the Rockets Game 5 matchup against the Warriors on Wednesday night, but his promise didn’t come true. The Warriors did what they’ve been doing all year and routed the Rockets out of the playoffs with a 114-81 beatdown.

With Steph Curry out, the other “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson carried the load, hitting seven 3-pointers en route to 27 points. This was the second straight game in which Thompson hit seven 3-pointers. The Dubs are now waiting for the winner of the Blazers-Clippers series as they continue their quest to repeat as NBA Champions.
