Kevin Durant: 39 Points, 7 Rebounds vs Thunder

Kevin Durant had his biggest game as a Warrior in his much-anticipated matchup against his former team. The man who seems to have become the villain of the NBA since his controversial decision to join the Dubs went off in his first matchup against the Thunder and Russell Westbrook. Coming into the game, Durant received a lot of heat from Thunder fans, media and some possibly subliminal shots from his former teammate. But, at Oracle Arena he was a hero, as he came out firing in the first half. The 2014 MVP hit five 3-pointers en route to 29 points in the first half, pretty much putting the Thunder away early.

Durant finished with 39 points on seven 3-pointers to go with 7 rebounds, in just 31 minutes of action. This will go down as one of the great performances of KD’s career. Peep the highlights above. In his roughest game of the season, Westbrook struggled going 4-of-15 from the field, but still finished with 20 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds.
