James Harden finished off 2016 with a bang and a major statement. In a historic performance that may have put him in a lead for the MVP award this season, Harden put up 53 points, 17 assists and 16 rebounds to lead the Rockets past the Knicks. Harden almost had a triple-double at the half of this one, going off for 24 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds. The Beard became the first player to have a 50-15-15 game and tied Wilt Chamberlain for the most points scored with a triple-double.
