J.R. Smith Sets Cavs Record With Eight 3-Pointers in Game 1

If it wasn’t for J.R. Smith, the Cavs probably would have lost Game 1 to the Hawks on Wednesday night. Smith caught fire and single-handedly brought the Cavs back into the game.

The former Knick was literally a flame-thrower in this game. Smith scored 28 points and 24 of them came on 3-pointers. His eight made 3-pointers are a Cavs franchise record for most in a postseason game.
