Isaiah Thomas Shines in Return to Phoenix

Just four days removed from a trade that sent him to the Boston Celtics, Isaiah Thomas made his return to Phoenix to take on the Suns. After signing the The 5-foot-9 guard to four-year, $27 million deal the Suns traded him in year one of his deal.

Thomas who saw a reduced role in the Suns packed backcourt got his revenge on Monday night. The Tacoma, Washington native finished the game with 21 points and 7 assists.

I.T. scored eight of his 21 points in the final 1:37 of the game. Thomas hit clutch shot after clutch shot, staring down the Suns bench as he led the Celtics to a 115-110 win over the Suns.

Thomas is averaging 21.0 points, 5 assists and 1.5 steals per game through his first two games with the Celtics.
