Isaiah Thomas Drops 53 Points in Game 2 vs Wizards

On the 23rd Birthday of his late sister Chyna, Isaiah Thomas turned in the performance of his life as he went off for a career-high 53 points against the Wizards in an intense Game 2 matchup. Thomas scored 30 points between the fourth quarter and OT as he rallied his Celtics to the big win, which now puts them in a 2-0 series lead over the Wizards. Thomas was 18-of-33 from the field, nailed five threes and was 12-of-13 from the line. IT displayed tremendous heart and grit in this one, going at the trees all game. Thomas joined Russell Westbrook, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki as the only players to score 50 points in an NBA Playoff game since Michael Jordan retired.
