Isaiah Thomas made a statement on Friday night against the Heat as he exploded for a career-high 52 points on the Heat. Thomas who is averaging 26.9 points and 6.3 assists per game had TD Garden on fire with his Iverson-esque scoring show. IT hit nine threes and finished 15-of-26 from the field, passing Paul Pierce for the highest scoring game in TD Garden history. Thomas also joined Kevin McHale, Larry Bird, Sam Jones and Pierce as the only 50 point performances in Celtics history. Truly an epic night for the man that was drafted 60th overall back in 2011.
