We haven’t witnessed an NBA arena as electrified as we did on All-Star Saturday Night in Toronto. In what fans, analysts and NBA players are calling the greatest dunk contest in history, T-Wolves swingman Zach LaVine and Magic forward Aaron Gordon put on a show for the ages.
It was 50-after-50-after-50. LaVine and Gordon pulled out all the stops, throwing down dunks we have never seen before. The two had multiple dunk offs and the crazy thing is they were pretty much free-styling for the final three rounds. The Seattle native ultimately came up with the final 50 of the contest, defeating Gordon in a thriller.
