Gilbert Arenas Is Training To Make an NBA Comeback

Gilbert Arenas last played in an NBA game on March 26, 2012 as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. From 2005 to 2007 Arenas was one of the best guards in the NBA but his career was derailed by a knee injury, when Arenas made his return and was showing signs of a rejuvenation a locker room incident involving guns took place that ended his season. He was never the same again.

However, almost two years removed from the NBA, Gilbert Arenas is planning an NBA comeback. After stating that he had lost the desire for the game and was ready to retire about a month ago, Arenas has had a change of heart. TMZ caught up with the 3 x All-Star and he told them that he is training for an NBA comeback!

Gilbert Arenas has had a change of heart … telling TMZ Sports he’s abandoned his plans to retire from pro basketball … and he’s currently training to RETURN TO THE NBA!!

It was just last month, Agent Zero told us he was walking away from the sport forever … happily … ’cause he’s still got another $38 million coming his way from the $111 million contract he signed with the Washington Wizards back in the day. 

But now, 31-year-old Gilbert says … his plans have changed — and he’s hoping to get back in the league as early as THIS SEASON … if a team is willing to take a chance on him.
